Hey 🌞 I’m a composer, music educator, and the creator of Sonofield. I’m fascinated by the intersection of music and technology, and I love exploring new ways for people to learn, hear, and understand music more deeply.
About Me
I run a YouTube channel sharing practical approaches to ear training, harmony, production, and composition. I also have a series of music theory courses that have helped thousands of students understand how music works from the ground up.
My musical background and listening habits are fairly diverse, although jazz, EDM, and video game music are closest to my heart. Guitar is my primary instrument, but I also play piano, bass, and drums. However, writing music is what attracts me most, and I spend most of my time at the computer in my DAW. That focus has led me to work as a composer, sound designer, mix engineer, and content creator across a range of projects over the years.
Outside of music, I enjoy video games, reading philosophy, exploring the nature of reality, and walking in the woods. Still, everything is music and my goal is to harmonize.
